This is your main page for finding out what is happening in the classroom.

All the news fit to print and more...

Writing Workshop

The students have published this term's essay project  for you. Please note: this work is unedited by me - I've published exactly what the student claims to be finished work!

These pages/workspaces will continue to grow and develop into an on-line portfolio of the student's writing throughout our time together.

Coding Workshop

Each Friday afternoon for the next two months or so the students will be working with Tufts Computer educator, the splendidly named, Dr. Strange and her Tufts graduate student Anna to learn about computer programming.

At first, the students will learn about a coding platform called, 'Scratch'. After that, the students will be designing computer games using another coding tool called, 'Alice'.

DARE Graduation Ceremony

Tuesday, March 6th

9:30 - 10:30am

Cafetorium, Brooks School

Selected students will read their essays, DARE officers, the Chief of Police and other dignataries make speeches, then all the students receive their graduation certificates and merchandise. Many parents usually attend this event so get there early to get a good seat!

Students should dress in their finery!
